PIAS Comedy releases 2 new titles for the UK on April 19th, Mike Birbiglia 'What I Should Have Said Was Nothing' and Dana Gould 'Let Me Put My Thoughts In You.

Mike Birbiglia 'What I Should Have Said Was Nothing'
What has truly galvanized the fan base of Mike Birbiglia is his “Secret Public Journal,” a weekly blog that he emails to thirty thousand fans and broadcasts to millions on the nationally-syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show. Somehow this turned into a Comedy Central Special, and now it’s all contained on this DVD, including material from the My Secret Public Journal Live Cd, The best of Two Drink Mike, and an exclusive tour documentary. These personal, autobiographical diary entries, which evoke the nostalgic tone of David Sedaris and the relatability of Bill Cosby, have truly defined Birbiglia’s public persona. Mike Birbiglia has problems. Painful, hilarious problems that you’ll enjoy!

Dana Gould 'Let Me Put My Thoughts In You'
Veteran stand-up comedian and Emmy-winning writer (The Simpsons) Dana Gould makes his DVD debut in 'Let Me Put My Thoughts In You', a one hour comedy special filmed at Chicago's Second City theatre. Gould dives into topics ranging from the struggles of marriage to the terrors of parenthood before letting his fertile imagination rip. Astronauts wear diapers, polar bears grow dolphin blowholes, and the devil waxes lyrical about, well, waxing... Showing the offbeat sensibility that has made him a cult favourite among comedy fans for years, Gould builds an extended riff on the tirals and tribulations of a family of sex-toy factory workers ("That vibrating love wand put a roof over your head!"). One of the founding members of L.A.'s alternative comedy scene, Dana has performed on HBO, Comedy Central, Late Show with Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and has appeared in numerous TV shows including Seinfeld and The Ben Stiller Show.
